How Chealu Works
Chealu is a map of what is available near you — people who do things, and things people are selling. It is a way to find each other. What happens next is between you.
If you are looking for something
Open the map and it shows what is around you. Search by what you need, filter by category, price or distance, and read the listing.
Messaging a provider is part of Pro. Browsing the map, reading listings and saving what you like are free and need no account.
If you provide a service
Publish what you do, where you are based, and how far you travel. You appear to people searching nearby — and, because services travel, to people just outside your area too.
Your first listing is free. Publishing more is part of Pro.
If you are selling something
Photograph it, price it, and drop the pin. Buyers nearby see it on the map and message you.
Item listings expire after 60 days unless you renew them, so the map does not fill up with things that sold months ago.
Chealu never handles the money
There is no escrow, no protected checkout, no Chealu wallet, and no delivery. Money moves directly between you and the other person, and we cannot see it, hold it, or get it back.
Anyone who tells you a payment is “protected by Chealu” is not telling the truth. Read the safety page before any in-person exchange.
Your address stays yours
A listing published by an individual shows an approximate area, not an address — the map draws a circle roughly 300 metres across, and your exact location never leaves our server.
Only a business listing can show a precise address, because a business with a storefront is publishing one it already publishes elsewhere.
